StockRivalry

Terms of Service — Effective November 4, 2026

Agreement

These terms govern your use of StockRivalry (the "service"): the iPhone and Android apps, the web app at app.stockrivalry.com, and this website. The service is operated by Tapirly, LLC, a Colorado company ("we", "us"). By creating an account, joining a rivalry or buying a rivalry credit, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

Who can use it

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian’s permission to use the service, and only a parent or guardian may buy anything.

What StockRivalry is (and is not)

StockRivalry is a game. Friends form teams, pick stocks, and compare how those picks perform over a "season". No real money is spent or invested. Picks are simulated, there are no brokerage accounts, trades or holdings, and the service does not buy or sell any security.

Rivalries and rivalry credits

Fair play

Rivalries are only fun if everyone plays honestly. You must not:

Hosts may remove a team or player from a rivalry they host, and we may correct or remove scores or rivalries, adjust standings, or suspend or end accounts that break these rules. If we think a result came from a bug or a break of the rules, our decision is final within the game.

Acceptable use

Don’t break the law, attack, probe or overload the service, interfere with other players, or reverse engineer it beyond what the law allows.

Our content and yours

The service, its software, design, name and branding belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use it. You keep ownership of what you give us (such as names and picks), and you allow us to use, store and display it to run the service, including showing your name, team and picks to other players in your rivalries, and, in aggregate, to improve it.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service running but do not promise it will always be available, error-free or unchanged, and we may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we stop letting you use credits you have bought and not yet used, we will refund what you paid for those unused credits.

Ending your account

You can stop using the service any time and delete your account in the app (see the account deletion page for exactly what that does). We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms. Deleting your account does not by itself refund purchases.

Disclaimer and limit of liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for losses from stock-price data or scores, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing). Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you, and nothing here limits rights the law gives you that cannot be waived.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Arapahoe County, Colorado, except where the law gives you the right to bring a claim where you live. Before going to court, please email us first: most problems, especially about billing, we can simply fix.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and change the effective date; for significant changes we will tell signed-in users in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. Questions: support@stockrivalry.com.
